The Oak Ridge ANS Section was established in April 18, 1958. On March 25, 1981, the Oak Ridge/Knoxville Section of the American Nuclear Society was incorporated. The section has approximately 200 members, and offers a variety of programs and activities for the members as well as the community at large.
